The law firm of Kirby McInerney LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on behalf of those who acquired Moderna, Inc. (“Moderna” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: MRNA) securities during the period of January 18, 2024 through June 25, 2024, inclusive (“the Class Period”). Investors have until October 8, 2024 to apply to the Court to be appointed as lead plaintiff in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit alleges that, Moderna failed to disclose that: (i) its RSV vaccine mRNA-1345 was less effective than the Company had led investors to believe; (ii) accordingly, mRNA-1345's clinical and/or commercial prospects were overstated; and (iii) as a result, the Company's public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
